Lots of good feedback - although I have to say I only klistened to the first half and couldn't listen to the second half because what I heard was actually poor I didn't find the mixing at all interesting / good, I would class the first half (as I say I havn't listened to the rest - but will do) as effortless.

 

The CD's I had recieved off you in the past I thought were fookin wicked, and this one I thought just didn't come into comparison with them. I was dissapointed ! I will be toattaly honest with you Mr Happy and say that when I was listening to what I heard, I thought of IanW's CD's that he sent out to us Members ! Just being honest.

 

I will listen to the rest of it at some point though

 

And thanks for sending one out ! I still want future CDs off you dude

thanks for your feedback maria, i must admit i got over ambitious on that cd and i'm not sure putting breakbeat, trance, purist techno, squat/acid techno, hardhouse and hardcore all on 1 cd was a wise idea

 

it was a concept cd tho rather than a demo disc that i was being tad elitest with it.

 

would be interested to hear what you think about track 13 onwards tho as thats closer to the style i normally send out

 

btw - just out of interest, in what way was the mixing effortless? if your able to give specifics that would be great as i would hate not to learn from my mistakes . must admit tho i wasnt happy with the quality of the beatmatching or the sound levels, but as i said earlyer, this being a creative arty cd rather than a typical set, i let the mistakes i made slide
