1. I can't reach my license unless you hold my beer. (OK in Texas)

2. Sorry, Officer, I didn't realize my radar detector wasn't plugged in.

3.Aren't you the guy from the Village People?

4. Hey, you must've been doin' about 125 mph to keep up with me. Good job!

5. Are You Andy or Barney?

6. I thought you had to be in relatively good physical condition to be a police officer.

7. You're not gonna check the trunk, are you?

8. I pay your salary!

9. Gee, Office r! That's terrific. The last officer only gave me a warning, too!

10. Do you know why you pulled me over? Okay, just so one of us does.

11. I was trying to keep up with traffic. Yes, I know there are no other

cars around.. That's how far ahead of me they are.

12. When the Officer says "Gee .Your eyes look red, have you been drinking?" You probably shouldn't respond with,"Gee Officer your eyes look glazed, have you been eating doughnuts?"

i never wear my seat belt i just sort of stopped as it rubs my neck and then dont and its very naughty and very silly i know and i must get into the habit of using it but its just not comfortable - is it legal if i wear it but tucked under my arm so it doesnt rub

evrything else is legal im quite careful apart from driving to fast on clear motorways and stuff but i dnt think im a dangerous driver (well only to myself for not wearing my belt)

minx its a 50 quid fine on the spot if ur lucky and some officers could be bastards and it can be up to 500 quid if u dont pay on spot apparently and it aint about how u drive, neon is safe yet already in past few weeks a lorry pulled over to outside lane on an island as we were on a bridge part and we was forced into the barrier and a camper van pulled out to the side of us forcing us into a part in the road u go to turn into a lane or summat and a mad head on road yesterday was pulling in front of everyone with out indicating or looking we had to sprint ahead i was so frightened he would kill us and my son was in the car

on the other hand u can get a clip used for kids which is put on to where the lap belt and cross shoulder part meets and can be positioned so ur seat belt is across shoulder and not by ya neck making it comfortable grin.gif

It is illegal to wear it under your arm. If your going to wear it like this then i wouldn't bother at all. If you did have a crash then it does you more harm than good: Major chest impact, twisted spine and if your really unlucky the friction will cut through your clothes, skin and main artery under your arm and if the other injuries dont kill you then you'll die from blood loss. Which is nice!!!!!!

It's called an on the spot fine Dani but you get 28days from the day of the offence to pay it. and i think it's still £30, might be wrong though!!!
