i was gona post this in serious issues glad i looked first, ive already had my mum and dad down my ear holes about it and i didnt even take anything so im in shit for nothing

 

at the end of the day there is dogs used on site and brought in if suspected of dealing anyway so why the hell wasnt the dogs put to searching every chalet and area of pontins after we all left as they knew some ppl would have stuff or they wouldnt do the searches and the medics know ppl have had stuff wen there dont they

 

i think tidy control it as best as possible wen we are there by the medics bein there and contactable 24 hours all weekend and the checks and stuff so this is on pontins and prestatyn polices heads for not searching the chalets properly before allowing children onto the premises surely

One of the parents found 17 ecstasy tablets in their apartment. Another found four bags of cocaine, and another said they'd found a bag of speed.

 

im sorry but who in there right minds would leave that behind. now i can understand the odd pill going missing while you're there, but if u lost that much wouldnt you turn the place upside looking for it!

In light of the article in today's Daily Mirror, please find enclosed an official statement issued by Pontins Ltd.

 

Tidy will be making no comment on this as this incident did not happen at a time when Tidy were in situ on the site.

 

We ask you now to refrain from making any further comments on this board.

 

OFFICIAL PONTINS STATEMENT

 

We are very concerned with the situation which has occurred at Prestatyn Sands as we work closely with the Police at all times to prevent the use of and access to drugs on our premises and there are procedures on centre for checking for illegal substances which are carried out regularly.

 

The special event started on Friday and the alleged substances were reported on Sunday. We cannot confirm the nature of the substances as that is a matter for the Police experts.

 

We are very sorry for the families involved and an investigation is being carried out to establish what has happened on this occasion. When it is complete, we will be having discussions with the Police to identify any further action that can be taken and contacting the families concerned.

 

We also feel that it is extremely sad that, not only Pontin’s, but every aspect of our society today is having to deal with this type of problem.

it aint really hard to know what extacy looks like and i know people who had hiding places in the cupboard under tv

 

the amount of ppl who are out of it all weekend and wen gettin packed next day its easily forgotten about wen ya rushing to get out chalet so ur not charged

 

i know we rushed to get out of hours as i woke 10 mins before having to hand keys in luckily i had packed night before

well i lost about 20 pills in our chalet that we never found did look for em but was rather drunk most of the weekend and the state our room was in we cld easily have missed em tbh well must have done cos they never turned up

but pills aint hard everyone knows about them and what they look like there is write ups everywhere and even at school u get talks on them now as i remember we did

at the end of the day though police cant really link it to tidy clubbers surely there were people there in between! I would say it would be at the descretion of pontins as to whether they allow them to use the site again and not a police matter

it was weekend after though and opened for a dance weekend competition so it was 1st time opening but still dogs should have been brought in and gone over the whole area they do it after festivals such as global as last year it was on news and year before and my mum went balistic at me then i cant win

 

i worked in a luminar leisure nightclub well ran the place for 2 years vertually and we had dogs come in every so ofter covering the whole club taking up bench seats around the edge and checking inside and even searching the staff and doorman and sniffing us all

 

bloody thing picked me out once cos id smoked a spliff before work wen i used to smoke it quite a lot was really funny but shows they can scent jus about enything

i shit myself when they had the dogs at sunnies and i didnt even have anything on me they scare me cos they can pick up on all sorts and i really wldnt fancy being strip searched or given an internal by sum rank policeman urgh

 

 

have to see what happens tickets go on sale in a week or so so suppose find out then whether pontins are still letting theyre parks be used

 

if not i reckon tidy shd hire alton towers hotel thatd b wkd
