Milk afterparty @ Studio 33, Vauxhall

If anyone's at a loose end after Friday night, I'm DJing at an afterparty called Milk on Saturday morning. It's in Studio 33, near Vauxhall tube station.

 

I'm doing the first couple of hours in the funky room. Expect a mixture of funky / techy / progressive / tribal house, or whatever seems like a good idea at the time really. The main room is your standard full-on hard house stuff if you still have loads of energy left over!

 

ROOM 1 - uplifting hard dance:

0700-0830: Joanna McEwen (Proactive / Milk)

0830-1000: The *TING* (Proactive / Twist)

1000-1130: Paul Jack (Proactive / Arktik Recs)

1130-1300: Marc French (Heat)

 

ROOM 2 - assorted funky & euphoric stuff:

0630-0830: Me (Liquideyes)

0830-1030: D'Marr Ford (Milk / Too Much / Element-7.com)

1030-1230: Dave Holmes (Milk / Tidy / Sunrise)

You can get in for £6 if you get your name on the guest-list by Wednesday I think.

For anyone going to The Key, to see Micheala, this is 12 minuites by tube. KingsX to Vauxhall... Any one else fancy supporting Andy, or into the HH side, I will be writing to them to tommorow for a paying guest list.

Micheala is a member. And has been for a long time, she's a mate of mine and James's and regulalry supports CTW events. She sings in a band called Kinky Disco. Which happily is electro, and the nights they play at like Human Zoo are acid, electro, and italo.

 

Andy is a member, and a good mate as well. he will be playing prog and techno,

 

So I am supporting both of them cos they deserve it, and cos I like the music, and I like them.

 

 

So

1) This is not spam - spam is unsolicited e-mail.

2) Milk is basically HH with a chill out room, and the wildchild afterparty so we should in general terms be supporting it.

3) I am paying to get into both.

4) If peeps want to go, we should at least try to get a guest list together.

Cheers Tony. Yeah I did a few gigs for Milk when they were at Club 414 / Brixton. It always has a great atmosphere.

 

Even better now I'm playing the funky room and don't have to compromise my artistic integrity...
