If you don't reside with a partner and you get pregnant you either get rid at the start or end of pregnancy

definately do not agre with getting rid of child jus because u havnt got a partner, what about if partner is killed or partner runs off, partner and u dont get on, partner was violent and u chose not to be with him for childs safety as the last one is why me and michael split and i have brought shay up alone i didnt want him to grow up with that in his life and i have done a very good job with shay, alone or not i dont see the point in having to be with someone as you cant 100% guarantee its gona work out but that dont mean to say single parents dont do a decent job cos they do. if someone doesnt get on or love each other that is more unfair on a child than staying and them growing up with it in there lives and also some people try for years to have a child and can actually do it via a donar i think in some countrys without a partner.

also another thing in some cases few but some a child has been born out of rape ie mo in eastenders (i no its soap but an example) that child isnt loved any less but it does happen and if a parent is gona love, nurture and bring up a child then why jus cos they do not reside with a partner take that child away from there loving parent id never love shay any less no matter what.

i think im undecided about legal drivin age bein 18 but then again i never started lessons til i was 18 so i guess it doesnt really matter to me

i think the marriage over 18 is a good one

kate it is accept in a place in scotland its 16 and also u can with ur parents permission at 16 get maried

 

and shane i no it wasnt clever, it isnt clever to do it now either is it. i was young and experimenting and i was also attention seeking as my dad spent all his time at his gfs and i was left to get myself up for school and stuff, never did tho as wagged all the time too

 

but after all them years of doin drugs ive grown out of it now lol

I'm still not sure who to vote for, I was brought up a conservative as my mum was a campaigner but now I'm really not sure who to vote for at all :s

 

Would be a bit silly to not vote at all so if anyone can give me a high level low-down on all the parties' policies I'd appreciate it !

 

I guess if I vote I will unfortunately be voting selfishly and what is best for me, rather than the country ... one reason I dont really want to vote as it could sway it the wrong way :s

I was married at 16 ... Don't regret it but I have always tried to steer my kids away from the idea!

 

Dani the whole point in me saying about living with a partner first is so that you DO learn about them before children come in to the equation, not get pregnant then have to learn the hard way, or think if you get pregnant this will make him/her stay with you!

 

No one can honestly say they know their other half until they live together for a considerable time and still you don't fully know them!

 

If a partner is killed completely different and you know it, if they run off or are bad toward the other half then you didn't give the relationship the time needed in getting to know one another or believed getting pregnant was a way to keep them in the partnership, which so many do.

 

If once you've lived with them for a considerable amount of time and you do have children, then things change at least you'd of tried, the relationship has to come before being a parent.

dawn i was living with him and was aware of how he was

getting pregnant was my kick up my arse to leaving him for the safety of my child thinking of my unborn baby and not him. i was a big lass then and pregnant for 5 months before aware of it as was still having periods also i had a drinking problem till i found out and it was also the kick up the backside to stopping that. drink was my pain releif from the beatings.

i do in a way understand where your coming from but dont see how it would help, it would result in nothing more than a lot of abortoins and orphans. a child and parent should be given the chance not have it taken away as i dont see it stopping the pregnancy rate in this country but can destroy people emotionally aswell thats how i see it forcing somoene to give up the child would destroy them if they are honourable in the belief they will care for the child. maybe make a law as if u dont want a child then u should be allowed to be sterilized and abusive parents made to be say those caught beating children and are still allowed to have more.

i know i made mistakes in past but i never abused my children was jus in a very vulnarable position but ive proved myself with shay
