Keep er lit means kinda keep it goin. Say for instance if you were winning a race I would shout "keep er lit Dawn"

This is a regular saying used by one of my mates who races the Irish road racing championships. He also uses "keep pulling cable boy" refering to keeping the throttle wide open!
