if it's a verbal phone conversation, and they can't find the recording, it's down to their word against yours, and guess who they will trust more unsure.gif

it is true that without there name the manager can't do anything about that particular person.

 

although everything thinks im called anna or hannah on the phone lol.

 

although in my call centre, when you go into someones account your logged so they can trace you that way.

But even so, making a note of the person who dealt with your call is always the best thing to do & if poss get them to pop in writing etc for you thumbsup.gif

my electric and water till i can get hold of my dad for money yes fone is more important atm wen i need to contact my doctor and ppl up home my mums still recovering from a stroke and im not there so need to call n see if everythings ok. i do weekly payments on everything and how was i to remember her bloody name wen i swear i wasnt told i wasnt then while on the fone and exact date n time i can find if i havnt thrown out the letter

it is because if you can give them a name they've got a much better chance of figuring out who it was. plus, they should be able to trace who went into your account anyway and find them that way.

 

 

best thing is if they are being idiots demand to speak to a manager whilst still on the phone with them.

technically that's good - bet you any amount of money thats to reduce arguments inside the company tho.

 

if the company can make the excuse that "we have no way of finding your call" to try and not give customers money back they will tho

i swear they never told me as wen i spoke to ppl then they didnt say a name and was dam right rude to me aswell cos i cant speak proper atm

she should introduce the call with her name when she says hello or whatever she says. it is worth doing because i know for a fact in call centres if you don't know the answer to a customers question most people just make it up.

So you class your landline phone more important than gas & elec do you?? Christ im not preaching here Dani, well maybe a wee bit but the phone should be the last thing, it is classed as a luxury not a major importance rolleyes.gif

 

You have a mobile do you not & is there not a phone box near by you can stick 20p in FFS!!!

 

 

So what you gonna do when they cut your elec of & your gas, jesus you struggle when you had no hot water for a few days rolleyes.gif

keep a stack of post-it notes next to the phone, with a pencil - for next time.

 

don't throw out official letters, ever. smile.gif
