depends what you want the qualifications for?

general office work you wanna take them in excel, word and access (basically spreadsheets, word processing and databases).

if you wanna do the more arty courses theres so many. try doing some basic ones first and then specialising in what you wanna do (like website design). if you wanna do website design some course in html wouldn't go amiss!

Are those the vision to learn ones? If so i signed up for one last week and am awaiting some kind of confirmation etc from them to start it.. i wana do as many as possible as i really wana have a proper career instead of just plodding along. Especially as we'll have a house to pay for soon enough too!! eek.gif

How much knowledge in IT, and in what areas of IT,  do you have, Claire ?

I have good (self taught) knowledge of using a computer etc, and basic knowledge of sorting basic problems that come up on my pc (and family members also)

I want to get more into that side of things though i reckon and know more about pc's/hardware in general as everything i know is either self taught if i've had a problem with my pc, or found out from friends if i couldn't sort it myself.

I'd also like the job to pay me lots of money when i am qualified/experienced etc lol.gifgrin.gif xx

my brother has just finished a masters in network computing and he's currently a network engineer soon to become a network manager.

i think for the support side and fixing stuff theres less available online, you know the self taught stuff, but theres loads out there.

get yourself down to your local uni/college and see what they have on offer.

oh yeah, and i think most computer related jobs pay a decent amount of money! smile.gifw00t.gif

I am trying to better educate myself in many fields not because I bore easily, we all get bored Dani but needs must when you have a family, so if I get trained up in lots of different things, then the more choice's I have grin.gif
