thumbsup.gif Yeah that & what I always told myself when i found myself in a dark patch was * You always pull through & find a way out* which is so true, if you think back to every hardship you have faced, you always come out the other end & a better, stronger person for it Dani & especially if you do it yourself grin.gif

Hell yes Dani, look at me as I say with 3 kids on my own etc & I didnt get to go out, even when I was bloody married, stuck in a foreign country eytc, but im 35 now, with a great toyboy bigwink.gif who I love dearly & I know he loves me too & my children at the age now where my parents etc actually offer to sit hahaha & i can go out still have fun your never too old.

You chose to have kids at the end of the day & he should be your first & main priority, his happiness should come first & foremost & then yours, ijmm not saying this isnt the case but your kids come first bigwink.gif

dani i think you have some false expectations about what a qualification will do for you. having a qualification doesn't guarentee you some great job - how many people from university end up stacking shelves?

and how many people who have no qualifications end up in a really good job. my boyfriends dad came from nothing, no GCSE's or anything and when my fella was born was living in a rough part of birkenhead. now he's the IT director of a big company. and how did he get there? hard work and determination.

if you're serious about working in a hair dressers why not go get yourself a saturday job there? and also you don't have to just go and study at college. if you need the money why not do on the job training, were you get day release to college rather than simply studying there. theres not as much equipment to buy and you've a much better chance of getting a job at the end of it.

You can infact do the both Dani if you wanted, the sky is your bloody limit if you want it, but your never gonna get anywhere til you change your attitude honey bigwink.gif

to be honest with hairdressing your better to work in a salon and train there as even if you have a qualification in it they want experience (as my mate found out who did a 3 yr course in it passed with some of the highest grades and still ended up sweeping floors for about a yr)
