Malcom Glazer has 63.25% ownership of Man Utd.

 

This is very bad and a sad day for all us Utd Fans!

Now being from Grimsby i can't really say that i'm a major fan of the sport, but why is this such a bad thing?

 

The Guy has done wonders for his team in the U.S. What's to say that he won't make Man utd absolutley amazing, even bigger than they already are?

 

America is the home of the worlds biggest spactator sports, everything is ruled by money and making each and every game the most enjoyable possible for the fan.

 

I've watched many different sports in the States and can honestly say that they do things properly over there, not quite like the mighty MARINERS of Grimsby town FC!!

I'm not in to my football at all but its definitley a bad thing. Yes his team in the US did do well fro a season but they're now pretty much bottom of there league and theres a lot of speculation that because they aren't doing very well he's going to start stripping the club of it assets.

 

Then theres the fact that once he owns 75% of the company he'll be able to make the company private and transfer his purchasing debts to the club which is £300 million.

Won't matter if it's right or wrong come next season if they manage to get some trophys!!

 

All will be forgiven .. and with the 20million they say he's going to give for new players etc. another Chealsea in the making i think!

His debt will be transferred to the club, and he had to borrow £530million apparently!

cos he bought so many shares in manchester united he has control over it, and once he gets 75% of the shares the club goes private again, and into his stinking fucking hands. If he gets 90% all other shareholders have to sell apparently! even if they dont want to!

But if he is in so much debt how could he buy the shares in the first place

he's been trying to buy the club for the past year or so! Utd kept telling him to put up or shut up!

 

He has had loans from various american banks etc i think, rothschild etc.

 

He sees utd as a money making opportunity and is going to exploit it!

 

Thats why all the fans are saying they will boycott anything that sponsors Utd e.g Vodafone, Nike and Audi to name a few. Also they will boycott matches and not buy utd merchandise, so the club makes no money, so Glazer gets no money!

 

There is also talk of a breakaway club starting up, a club for the fans run by the fans, cant remember what they said it would be called, but it would have to start in the north cheshire league, i think, which is something like 9 or 10 divisions lower than the premiership!

Come next season everyone will have forgotten about this and they'll just be the odd 1 or 2 hundred that will actually go through with a boycott of any means!
