i love dean koontz, just finished dragon tears of his, that was brilliant, i've got soul survivor and also saw the 2 part movie they made on sci fi channel.

i've read a few ian rankin, but always took me ages to get into them

But once your into them, you cant put them down. Thats what I find anyway.
