my first 'jilly' moment at work

well my first day i didnt have any 'jilly' moments...

 

until this morning...

 

the girl that sits opposite me came off the phone

 

'oh my god i just had greg dyke on the phone'

 

then i piped up

 

'oh i used to really like him on who's line is it anyway?'

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

then my boss went 'no jilly, greg dyke is the guy that got sacked from the bbc for the hutton enquiry..your thinking about greg proops'

Classic! I hate it when things like that happen...although when they happen to me they're not called 'Jilly moments'...that'd be a bit odd I think.

 

I used to like Greg Proops too...still do in fact:)...I remember when he did a show on Radio 1 called 'Bits from last weeks radio'...it was on after Mark & Lard in the good old days when they used to be on at night...hhhmmmm, should that be the good old nights?...anyway! it was really funny...anyone else ever hear it or am I just rabbiting nonsense now

I used to work for a guy who owned horses and stuff...and I can honestly say that every single one of 'the horsey set' i've ever met are...erm...odd people to say the least...it's like their heads get filled up with so much equine knowledge (it's got about 8 different names for the hair on it for christ's sake...that's just selfish!) that normal stuff like sanity or sense just gets pushed out...*sigh* well that was my experience anyway...in traditional me style i'll probably discover that you all own horses and i've offended everyone now...wooyay!
