Vets are a rip off. My cat rest his sole, had to go in for a tooth removal, when I called in to the vets I discovered they had taken 5 teeth out & done a liver scan test thing as well & tried to bill me £400 odd, I said no way this inot on, I brought my cat in for one tooth to be removed etc yet they did extra work without my knowledge & say so.. Grr

Anyway the receptionist then went on to say I could not take my cat til I had paid up, so I said to her *are you holding my cat hostage & if so you can keep the cat then, he is not worth that much sorry*

& hey ho they let him go & I only had to pay for the one tooth as they were ment to inform me etc baz.gif

Techno, Techno, Techno

lol lisa nice one!!

still i knows the vets are a bit of a rip off....... i found a big tick on my cats neck and i mean it was big! i did grab a set of my small plyers and got it by the head and got rid of the lil thing but felt we ought to check with the vet that nothin was there n he'd be ok.

got there, no head, no infection but was gonna give him anti-biotics only we had some already, so basically all what happend was we dragged the cat down the vets n felt his arm pit and charged us £14 for it...

£14 is pretty cheap for a consultation from them

wen we had a dog sandy she was a long haired lurcher, lurchers bein racing dogs and family of greyhounds she loved to run, she would run up to dogs with there owners on leads run round in circles around them and wind them up lol was really quite funny no one could catch her, well she somehow lost her footing one winter wen it was icey and fell funny that she couldnt get up she had hurt her back, we took her the vets and jus for a check and to be told she had jus hit it funny and there was no damage as she was ok in the vets jus she had a bruise we were billed £80 and that was the pdsa benefits from bein on benefits added so would have cost us prob double that had i been working
