UFC is pretty good, but it takes the piss how much Judo owns the other styles... pretty much EVERYTIME someone enters doing Judo, they win easily :-/

Havent most of the world champions in last decade been Judo fighters though?? They always win by submission which is a bit dull :-/

yeah they win by submission but its normally the brazillian ju jitsu style. well it has been the past week ive been watchin it.

Fair enough... havent watched it for months now so dont know if its all changed etc. Started doing Thai Boxing and have a LOT of respect for people who do it professionally - it certainly makes you value being able to walk without your shins hurting lol

lol, im still in the early stages yet but next semester might take it up a gear so ya never know :-)

 

Only reason I started doing it was to aid me in football - increases balance and power by a ridiculous amount and has certainly made a difference as im no longer being pushed off the ball as easy by opponents
