One Year Ago to the Day

On the 19th June 2004 Emergence was born, holding their first party at the legendary Sanctuary. On that night, Birmingham's hard dance scene changed. The underground hard house sound had been brought once more to the second city's clubbers.

 

That sound is hard house with a difference, it's less bounce and classics and more filth and dirt. The sound isn't all thrap and hard-as-nails, though it is an area our DJs are both competent in and known for. The music you hear at Emergence is underground, and when you leave you certainly know you've been to an Emergence party!

 

Twelve parties have passed, and Emergence is celebrating! Alongside our main Emergence party we've launched what many consider to be Birmingham's most successful hard dance DJ competition, Turn. We've also launched our sister night Emergence of Hardcore.

 

Helping us to celebrate are our friends at Shine. We're now holding monthly Sunday daytime parties in conjunction with Shine at Radius. We couldn't think of a better place to hold our birthday bash nor could we think of better friends to party with.

 

Summer in the Radius Beer Garden

Don't forget, Radius's new beer garden is now fully open - complete with palm trees! Soak up the rays in the garden at the same time as listening to our DJs pump out the tunes!

 

UPDATE: The Met is forcasting a scorcher of a weekend, and the hottest to date this year! Enjoy it in the Radius beer garden at our first birthday![b/]

 

Party Games!

We'll be having party games in the middle of the day - we've got pass the parcel, musical statues and musical chairs sorted - all to hard house! Naturally, there'll be prizes up for grabs!
