and those 2 posts came from where????? uhm.gif

this is what we mean by not letting things go, this is just giving out reasons for people to reply to your posts with stuff you dont want to hear!

none of us want to leave our kids at home while we work but lifes like that!, grace was 4 weeks old when i returned to work as back then you either worked or lived on income support, there was no tax credits/child credits & childcare credits! also its a proven fact that children advance & lead a more fulfilled life if they attend a nursery/childcare before school.........i know i got fed up of the sight of my 2 & they got fed up with me & loved going to the childminders.

chances are they will get more interaction with a day care provider than with you

so what if it will nearly be bed time by the time you get home, its all about the quality of time not the quantity

How old is Shay? I agree with Lou in that i think its good for children to spend time with others their own age, not sure what the nursery/preschool ages are exactly but im sure there would be something he could go too. My mum went back to work when i was really young as both her and my dad had to work to be able to provide for me but i still saw loads of them.

Lou had to take it off couldnbt get the lid on damn it why dont they make kettles in size 11 ;o)

How about a job with in house training then so as your not away from him all the time - a lot of jobs find experience equally as important as a qualification nowadays. If its hairdressing try the Toni & Guy training or some of the bigger salons as they offer in house training

beacause i am working a year as i explained in another post to save up for the equiptment for college, its all very well with work experience but my mate did that and was brushing floors for 6 months and had no training and so with a college its straight on to teaching and i wana do 4 years not 2/3 as i wana be a stylist and beauty too so i can have my own business and it seems i may have a job starting august when our new marks and spencers simply foods opens and i know its jus a supermarket job but it is a job and good enough for me to save and get sorted so i can go college next year wen shay is 4 and at school fulltime

Ok if thats what you thinks best at least its a job. I still think you'd be better in a salon or something relevent to your career but its not my life & M&S will be better money if you need to save

i jus feel training can also be harder for the empoyers and shit money as ur doing it and dont fancy sweeping up forever id rather get to do straight on training with a tutor who can offer guidance and help more than an employer can at a salon as bearing in mind they still have customers and yes it is money and enables me to train and it is what i feel comfortable with doing and that is going to college

£7.50 an hour thats not too bad actually

Dani just be careful when you finish as a few of my old school mates went to do hairdressing at college and struggled to find jobs afterwards and still ended up doing the junior positions. Saying that theres a plentiful supply of hair and beauty therapists around here so it is a hard area to find work might be different down your way

a lot of salons (& most top salons) provide the in house training with garenteed position after so once the college course has finished the jobs have been filled already by the trainee's.

thats why im not just doing hairdressing there is actually a difference between hairdresser and stylist

a stylist learns more stuff not jus basic cutting and styles but how to do proper up hair dos and u know catwalk styles and bridal hair theres a huge demand for actual stylists not hair dressers most hairdressers get jobs and further train to become stylists but those who have already trained have better prospects and as i said i want to run my own business as a mobile hair stylist so i can go to ppls homes and do brides and bridesmaids hair and stuff which can start off a part time thing whilst also working and when it takes off i can have my own full time business

see i have looked into things
