tis great, loved series 1 but series 2 is even better - MAKE SURE you dont get told what happens at the end of the series though, it all builds upto it and knowing will ruin it a'la 'bruce willis is a ghost in 6th sense' kinda spoiler

It's an immense programme though, i love Wednesday night programmes like this and desperate housewives before NT restarted.

Before 24 got all stupid in series 4 (wont say much about it as I dont know if you are watching em on skyone or if you have seen whole series?) I would have agreed on that... Series 1 + 2 of 24 were great, series 3 and 4 seemed incredibly 'rushed' in comparison and didnt really get anywhere near the same excitement in my opinion

 

When it starts over here, catch 'Lost' if you can - its a series about a plane crash and it survivors and is superb (written by the guy who does Alias and apparantly the first episode is the most expensive single episode in tv history )

There's some really good series on TV recently hasn't there.. i'm impressed by what's being put out and how much i have to make sure i watch every episode.

I cant figure 24 out anyway. Its supposed to lapse a 24 hour period but each episode is only 45 minutes long and there are 24 episodes. Basic maths tells you that only covers 18 hours.

they are only 45mins long so that it fitted into the american tv market because they have so many more commercial periods than we do.

ours is every 15 mins or twice during half time at a football match.

theirs is like every 7 and a half mins, so with that many commercials a 45min show would fit in an hour with no spare time.

Thats not the point, if I'd bought any of the series on DVD, I'd complaing that I was only getting 75% of what I was promised. Thats bad advertising if you ask me...
