Bit of advice as ur the most knowledgable ibiza bird i can think of

 

club prices? how much are we gonna be looking at for amnesia, es paradis, dc-10, space etc.

 

wheres the best places to go for tickets when we get there or shd we book online b4 we go?

 

any advice on where to avoid if we perhaps fancy some naughty little holiday pick me ups and also wheres the best plce to go 4 em or type of ppl to ask

Hiya, i am here now..

 

Club Prices, i'm not too knowledgable on actual prices as i usually get in free to them due to having worked there and people i know through clubbing but you're probably looking at about £20 give or take a bit.. but you can usually get flyers to get a bit off the price anyway so always look out for people handing flyers out, try to get them from the people doing the PR work on the streets though as they usually work on commission only so need the money more than the admin girls/shops offering tickets as they're usually on a wage.

 

Saying that though, depending on who you go with (tour operator etc) you may be able to get discount tickets with them even cheaper if there's a few of you booking them at the same time especially as they usually have a deal with the clubs to offer low price tickets as they can usually shift quite a few so the clubs let them have more of a discount.

 

Looky looky men (the coloured ones who offer you watches and sunglasses etc) usually have naughties on them, but beware as some of them will fob you off with shit.. if you do go to one of these then tell them you're a worker and they will know then that you're about for the season so if you get shit stuff you won't be gone in 2 weeks like a holiday maker, and also they know you don't have as much money so will give cheaper.. and won't hassle you to buy their stuff if you say you're a worker too. Also you could ask workers out there as they usually know people (not looky looky men but they'll generally know the best ones of them anyway) who deal and who is cheapest and best etc etc. Go for the club workers as opposed to the workers in the bars though as they know the score a bit more usually and won't be offended if you ask them. Wips supermarket (the 24 hour one) in the early hours is a good place to go for workers too if you're ever stuck around that time for stuff.

Bars, well there's amsterdam bar at the top of the west end area where if you buy 4 drinks you get a bottle of spirit/schnapps free, and there's loadsa bars down the west end that offer free drinks/cheap drinks for your first drink esp just to get you in so just go along getting all the free/cheap stuff you can lol.

 

Quiet beaches, go round to San Antonio Bay if you're looking for a close quieter one to san an, or try port des torrent (which is up at the end of san antonio bay, you can get a bus there though) or if you don't mind going a bit further try Cala Llonga on the other side of the Island as that's amazing there, or even play d'en bossa and Es Cavallet is also meant to be nice but i think thats a nudist beach too.

 

Other nice beaches are Cala Bassa and cala conta.

Yeah my mates stayed in Calla Longa when went with her parents and said it was nice, may hire a jeep or something and mission over there for a change one of the days!

 

All these questions lol we'll get over there and wonder round and find everything anyway just feel a need to be prepared lol

Yeah it's always nice to have some information prior to going isn 't it, at least then you have an idea of what is good and what isn't.. and most people don't find out all these things on one visit anyway.

 

Mine's the combination of about 7/8 times being there, twice being out there all season so you get to know loads then.

Id love to do the season out there the last 2 holidays ive been on i havent wanted to come home and i know ill be worse this year! Might just think fcuk it and do it next year y'know cos i reckon poopsie wld wanna do it too itd be awesome out there, hard work but an experience ;o)

 

Its def good to have bit of info spesh somewhere like ibiza when ill be dabbling in stuff i wldnt do on normal holidays best to just know any of the big things to avoid and the best places as in a week u just dont find everything, usually the last day or so u end up finding a bar u really like or beach isnt it

It is definitely hard work out there but it is definitely worth it, i really am missing it and gagging to get back out there. Its killing me to know i can't go over there for the season, but i have to get through my responsibilities here and do my course etc so must be strong hehe. I'd definitely say go for it to you though, i reckon you'd love it. You never know, i may end up out there next season myself.

 

Yeah it is usually the last day or 2 that you will suss a few things out that you really like, which is a pain as you're always ready for home by then too. Ibiza is pretty safe though and there's loads of decent things to do/places to go all within a relatively short space of each other so it's not too much of a treck to get from one place to another should it not be as you'd expect.

 

Oooh also, go to the aguamar (water park).. it's fantastic.

Club prices are nearer £30 now. Especially the likes of Privelidge (manumission, meganite etc) amnesia and Pacha

 

Eden & es paradis are a bit cheaper.

 

Tickets wise, each club usually have an official bar ie like Bar M, Mambo etc etc. The workers for the nights are usually there and about on the streets.

 

Claires advice about the naughties is spot on. the coloured guys can be dodgy if they think your just there for 1/2 weeks. If you say you're a worker they are usually cool.

But I always found that asking workers was the easiest way. They know everyone on the island and can usually sort something out for you.

 

P.S. Claire, how fucking good is amsterdam bar lol. 4 bottles of bud and you get a bottle of vodka free!!

Ahh see i didn't really know about rise in ticket price as in the last few years of being there i haven't paid to get in anywhere lol.

 

Amsterdam bar is amazing, it's a guaranteed way to get pissed before you've even made your 2nd bar haha.. i like it a lot.
