can take a while and if u dont be persistant chasing it up they will close the case but in ur case u was married to him so he cant give them the run around plus with him bein settled and with someone else not the type to move address and claim not to be the person living there its straight forward and will be easy to process.

me and amber had problems getting our cases delt with against neil as he kept claiming he wasnt there dad, moving address or sending letters back but amber has been persistant and got results,

it can take a while but as u were married to him i dont think he can easily give them the run around

tho one problem stands. if he has other children with the new gf or she has a child not his but living with them that goes against what u get for yours as sad as it sounds, neil has 2 sons with me, 1 daughter with amber, a step son with his wife and twin daughters with her. amber hardly see's a penny cause of the 3 living with him.

cheers ladies, just downloaded a form & filled it out & gonna send it back tomorrow,

iv never asked for a penny off him cus iv always had 2 jobs & could support them myself but now hes being a prick (with the help of his psycho missus) & says he never wants to see them again, i dont feel i should let him get away scot free anymore, especially as im not in a position to give them the luxuries iv been able to do for the past few years now im on maternity leave.

like you said dani because we were married he's on the birth certificate & our divorce states that we have joint costody & therefore should contribute to there keep, so shouldnt really have any problems

i've had dealings with them, they are utter pains in the arses, my ex said he wasn't jacks dad, and it took them nearly 8 months to sort out for a bloodtest. nearly four years down the line and not only have i never seen a penny off him, he isn't even paying, after deciding to stay in full time education so he wouldn't have to pay support for jack.

i ring them at least once a month to ask them about whats going on, and they never give me any info. except to say they haven't sorted it out yet.

but it will be different for you cos you was married, and i would if i was you, get money for the kids they deserve to be supported by their father.

Never had to deal with them and i've not read the replies to this as yet!

Woman at work was on about them the other day and from what I gathered they've gone from crippling the dads/partners to being on the soft side shrug.gif

She's got 2 girls and gets £50 a month thumbsdown.gif

if your on income supoort or job seekers allowance (which im sure dani is) you dont get the money anyway, it goes strait to the goverment so they dont have to fully support the kids yes.gif (just read that in my 'help & advice' book)........so really id dont benefit the full time parent, but saying that i still wouldnt let them get away with it scott free thumbsdown.gif

your not gonna like this comment but here goes, and i dont mean this offencively...........

carry on claiming so at least im (and every other tax payer) not supporting your kids & clubbing life so much and the responcerble parent is thumbsup.gif

But they do get it sort of!!

If you get say £50 a week then that £50 is deducted off your benefit.

Where I when I was on benefit, because I wouldn't give the fathers name I had £10 for each child deducted, which was fair enough .. rules are rules shrug.gif

Ive never had to deal with them but my advice would be if it doesnt cost you anything to put a claim in then do it. He shouldnt get off scot free why should you struggle on your own it takes 2 to tango so he should be equally responsible for the financial support

im not gona take it offensively as i have never wanted to sit on my arse

was jus hard dealing with having to have monitored access with brandon, court cases and suffering with agro phobia in the past was hard for me but that is an illness in the same states as deppression but i am now currently sorting myself out and actively looking for employment so im not by choice still not working am i just it takes a few months to intitially get into gear through new deal.

*edited*

oh and i jus realised u said claiming for mikey so i am not taking tax payers well my dad would get the money mikey lives with my dad and i cant claim from michael as i claimed unknown father so he could never have any sort of hold on me or shay. he could have taken me to court and got access meaning i would have to see him resulting in danger for me and shay

and as for the why didnt i persist it well i am for mikey now my dad is married and his wife works. my dad is disabled so dont work, they will benefit from and csa we can get. also we are changing his name from moran to mckay by depol, he dont want anything to do with his son why should his son carry on his name

Tha CSA are a bunch of bastards. They take £188 a month off me and my ex-wife inly gets about £100 of it for my son. OK, yeah, its good for the woman but lousy for the guy. They should give out exactly what they take IMO.

She told me when we split up that she'd never get the CSA onto me, its her new husband that told her to do it. I think he threatened her in some way. It took 6 months to process the claim but they started charging me from the day she filed it so I had to pay 6 months back dated when they started deducting my wages.

BASTARDS
