On Saturday, 03rd July, Kosmetic Surgery, London’s biggest polysexual electro-house party continues to push musical boundaries with an exclusive DJ set from international new wave pioneers FC Kahuna. Learning their trade from the warehouses in Leeds their album, “The Machine Say Yes gained critical acclaim from Joe Wylie on Radio One and was highly-praised by music press who described their sound as an “electrifying fusion of futurist acid house and silicon soul.†They went on to form a band which took them to headline festivals such as T in The Park, Reading, Leeds, Creamfields Coachella (USA) and a UK tour with Royksopp As DJ Producers they’ve played everywhere from Russia to Japan and remixed everyone from New Order to Felix De Housecat. They were recently on a the same bill as Kraftwerk and their productions have provided the backdrop on top US TV dramas such as such as Nip/Tuck, Six Feet Under, CSI Miami and gangster brit-flick, Layer Cake. Despite their success they still retain their distaste of the mainstream preferring to play parties such as Kosmetic Surgery which help carve out musical templates of the future. Joining them will be Trailer Trash residents, Mikki Most and Hannah Holland. Based in Shoreditch, Trailer Trash is one the most influential parties so the UK so expect them to blow the socks of South London with their blistering electric disco. They will join forces with Kosmetic Surgery resident and co-promoter Tommy Four Seven, who returns with a third helping of cutting-electro house, so dirty you’ll be gagging for more. Resident, Sub:Tracktor will once again be your warm-up for the evening. Once again Synth pop and electro-clash fans can head to Room Two for another dose of electrified-disco mayhem. Provided by kings of anti-fashion, Yr Mam Ya Dad (Aka Bellyache). They will be ably assisted by Trash Palace and Pearlnecklace regular Jonafid. More guests to be confirmed.
