this was 4 years ago and when i ended up through a bad stage, kinda wasnt for me anyway but was jus saying i was proud of the qualification at the time cos i actually acheived it,

Well i stand by it, for whatever course you want to do.. there will always be a way if you look into it.

i do want to be a stylist have done for past couple of years and never having a daughters who's hair i can mess around on made me even more determined, which is why im starting work in august at the new marks and spencers simply foods to save to do the course next year so how the hell am i bein negative wen i have been pursuing something past couple of months, and as for the it i was applying for online course because it was easiest way to get a job almost anywhere is to have computer skills as i found out at the job center everyone wants u to have computer expereince now

u were all quick to jump on me for saying i regreted never pursuing it back then like 4 years ago with the councilling but it isnt now i want to do it, too much work and less time with shay i can do it wen he is grown up uni does take a lot of time up

Excuse me but i haven't jumped on you at all, i'm simply saying what i think about your situation in the hope that it may get you to do things about your situation as it does get quite tiring to hear you constantly on about something and always with an excuse as to why you can't do this and that etc even when people try andhelp you. You just seem to throw it back in their faces.

As for being negative, i'm talking about your general attitude about things, you'd rather find a reason why you can't do something, or how having Shay stops you from doing things than take an idea on board and see how do-able it is before saying 'can't'.

I personally think you would be better doing the course sooner than later, if it's what you wana do then do it while you can get it free and the help you need (funding for equipment, childcare etc etc) and while you're still young, hairdressing takes a while to get anywhere and starting as a trainee/newly qualified when you're late 20's gives you a worse start than starting sooner on. I can't see you working at M&S and then giving it up to be broke again so you can do your course as you won't get any help with it by then.

They do say the sooner that you start off on ANY career path the better as then you have longer to travel up the ladder and get further.

this was jus a general topic i replied in and got jumped on at all angles

and i want to work for a while so i can sort my flat out and make it nice and stuff and it dont matter what stage u train at ppl are not alowed to refuse u cos ur age so i dont no how it matters if i wait a year or 2 in fact more ppl prefer more mature stylists than a teenager as they dont look as if there fresh out of college and as i said the main pan is to work up to my own business so does it really matter if i do it early or late

i wana work a while to fully furnish my flat, make it nice and shay to have everything i couldnt get him before and then go into training for something and besides i can cut hours to part time and train part time and do both i already found this out with my adviser smile.gif

Isnt Essex full of beauty technicians and hairdressers i would imagine with the image of the place anyway. Bet you'll struggle to even get work after college if you have no experience, youll be doing blue rinses for ever n a blue day lamo
