Dani, I know & as I say it is all debt & I have been there & done it & will never do it again.

As catalogues over charge bigwink.gif

i look at cyber stuff on ebay and cyber dog and places like that as starting to make stuff but i dont ever go mad shopping even tho wen i start working i have promised myself a shopping spree on stuff for me and shay

i dont have to pay rent or council tax for the first month and i get given £250.00 for going back to work as it takes ages for the tax credits to get sorted so thats to tie me over but with no rent or tax il have money extra to treat myself after i have paid and bought everything that is needed and im gona give myself a monthly allowance for blowing so that i dont get into the shopping trap

Dani, you not be paying any interest over your 20 weeks but you go & compare store prices to catalogue prices chicken & the difference is quite a bit & as Lou say's its a mugs game, you have already posted you will get a freezer next & im sure the payments on that over 20wks no apr will be more than your weekly income support, unless you get it with interest, may sound like im nagging sweets but seriously im not, im seeing you as I was a few years ago & I had no-one to advise or help me.

Seriously, put a few quid a week away instead & do it that way my love thumbsup.gif

up to you but as a mate & wanting to help & give you advise please think about it ok before submitting another negative reply huggles.gif

ive been looking since i moved in and we have nothing like that round here its so frustrating that harlow is 20 mins away and yet there center for second hand furniture wont allow ppl in the epping area use them as we arnt a needy area apparently and then if ppl are selling u need transport to pick something up and i dont drive lol.gif its a catch 22 situation so i decided well my oven, fridge and washing machine are new so what the hell il spend it on a freezer and then have a nice new kitchen with guarantees

Catalogue stuff costs more before interest anywya so you're paying over the odds even if there is no interest on the stuff.

How much have you spent? £5 a week for 20 weeks is £100.. quite a lot for some knickers and bras really. eek.gif

Couldn't you put that money towards your hairdressing stuff so you could do it quicker uhm.gif

Just a thought hun. smile.gif

Don't forget you need money to get to and from work, dinner etc while at work.. they don't give you the money to blow, they give uit you to survive on til you get paid.. food etc, just because you don't pay rent etc in first month you will still need to pay electric, internett, phone, gas etc etc. Don't blow the money as you never know what will happen and you could end up needing it. smile.gif

my nearest town is 40 mins away from me so thats no excuse, just because you dont have second hand shops in your area (which i find hard to beleive) doesnt mean you cant buy second hand, there will be classified listings in local papers, shop windows & websites, Ebay & welfare schemes! man & van will pick up/deliver for a couple of quid

You could try somewhere like cash converters as im sure they have them (or other named porn shops) all over the country, they'll be super cheap and then the money you would save you could treat you and shay ;o)

Also a lot of the classifieds in the local papers offer good deals, theres usually house clearances in there which offer delivery aswell (if you speak nicely to them anyway)

Its always worth shopping for the bargains my dear
