Calling all house hedonists – UP^^ continues its meteoric rise to fame when we hit the ground running with a special party at the legendary Turnmills on Saturday, July 16th. Following three off-the-hook sessions at the Ministry of Sound where we’ve taken the Baby Box by storm and made it our own well past its usual bedtime, we’re heading north of the river to City Loud and will be hosting the atmospheric T2 space with our trademark brand of infectious, hands-in-the-air funky mayhem. This one is going to be special.

 

City Loud is arguably London’s premier house night with only the finest international DJ talent on offer – the likes of David Morales, Bob Sinclar, David Guetta and Martin Solveig have all graced the turntables in 2005 so far. July 16th should be a very special night indeed as City Loud present the New York Sessions featuring the legendary Tony Humphries playing an extended four-hour set. Joining him will be rising star and man-about-Ibiza Oliver Lang along with the ever reliable resident CJ Macintosh. Expect soulful and spiritual house grooves of the highest order but still tough enough to shake the club to its foundations.

Hailing from Switzerland and the man behind the famous Purple Music label, Jamie has been setting dancefloors alight with anthems like ‘The Light’ and his latest club smash ‘Be Thankful’, and will be treating us to his special blend of uplifting and sensual house music. Joining him will be an exciting new talent in the shape of the Soulseekerz.

 

UP^^ will also be on hand, of course, with our legendary party vibe and London’s freshest, brightest and downright funkiest night will be delivering the very best in funky and vocal UP^^lifting house for one of the most UP^^-for-it and sexiest crowds around. Spinning the tunes that matter this time around will be:-

 

• Mark Bowler B2B Vandal – two young talents from the Kurruption gang, one of London’s hottest house crews, who will be getting the party started just right.

 

• Jon Costa – as well as being Head of A&R with the prestigious UMM label, Jon hosts his own show on Ministry of Sound Radio and plays a mean selection of choicest house cuts.

 

• Richard Launch – the Groove Factory guy and popular gentleman around town, Richard will close the night off as only he can – his final set at the last UP^^ was a real stormer!

 

There’s no finer place to party than the legend that is Turnmills with an atmosphere second to none and it should make the perfect playground for the UP^^ faithful.
