absolute terrible news this was when i heard it

Im supposed to be flying to a meeting in London tomorrow at our head office.........

We were sopposed to have staff flown in from our Global offices for meetings tomorrow too, but that's now cancelled. W0rk has been so dead today, and will be tomorrow, but Monday is going to be mayhem. :|

i got into work to find a staff notice up explaining that our store was under high security due to the london attacks, and that police were on search checking everybody coming in and out of edinburgh or heading to the forth road bridge.

the capitals of the country really are under seige from IDIOTS arent they!!? i cant believe what is happening and i wish there was a way to take a stand

oh dear.... helicopters overhead didnt quite see which way they went, but the sound injects a kind of fear and wonder what the hell is happening today!!!

 

bloody hell the world seems to be falling apart this week

my dad said to me on monday night that there would be trouble this week in London as the G8 summit was taking place in edinborough & over 2000 police/amulance & fire brigade were drafted in from london alone to cover the possible riots/problems & the fact that london would be busy yesterday because of the crowds for the olympic desision............i mean talk about advertising the fact that london would be un prepared for an emergency. i lost count how many time it was said in the papers & news that the capitol would be underpoliced

They have only sent 1500 up to Scotland and they still have 31,000 police officers available in the center. To be honest, no amount of police could stop this happening, it would just be too difficult and take too long to check everyone thoroughly before they go on the tube/public transport. It's just not feasible unfortunately.
