JFKs Birthday Bash started out as a quiet affair many years ago when JFK was at his former home Passion.

 

Unable to get a line up for a particular night close to his birthday, it was suggested that he should do a six-hour set and call it his Birthday Bash.

 

Although unsure of how this would be received by clubbers, JFK reluctantly agreed.

 

His worries were soon turned to disbelief as 2500 mad for it clubbers turned out to pay homage to their party king. The legend of JFKs Birthday Bash was born.

 

Every year since then JFKs Birthday Bash has become a central focus point in the midlands clubbing calendar, with people telling stories of cancelling holidays and even postponing weddings when they found out which date it fell on.

 

This year it moves to a new home, Elements in Hinckley Leicestershire and for the first time JFK has invited his mates to play as well.

 

Like-minded DJ Matt Hardwick, himself a former resident at a super club, and JFKs latest protégé Genix is also on the bill. JFK will be playing a 3-hour classic party set in Arena One plus this year is trying his hand at a bootleg breaks set in Arena Two.

 

Arena 2 is hosted by Vince Robertson’s KINKY U brand; this in itself has been on of the success stories of 2005. Kinky U has been gathering momentum and is seen as some of the most exciting DJ talent to emerge in Club-land for some time.

 

Expect all the usual messy madness, costume changes, impressionist, silly wigs, fancy dress is optional and is a Black and White theme.

 

JFK quoted “As the years went on these parties seemed to have caught the imagination of the average punter simply for the fact that it is an out and out party, a no holds barred place where people come to have a good time”
