FUCKIN MARVELLOUS!!!

 

I've got a burst pipe in my flat, and its BEFORE the stop tap so I cant turn it off. Called out the plumber and he cant turn it off from the street so I'm sitting here waiting on Anglian Water to come and see what they can do with it.

 

Good thing is its downstairs and everything I own is upstairs but I can hear it hissing away and my hallway carpet is soaking and the floorboards are ruined.

 

Oh, I love the joys of summer. Hope this doesnt fuck me up for DV.

Anglian Water couldnt do anything so I had to get some guys out to dig up the path and sure enough...they shut it off.

 

My floor boards in my hall are fucked and I'm gonna need a new carpet downstairs but it doesnt come out of my pocket so I dont care.

 

The thing that does piss me off though, is it wasnt even a pipe connected to my flat, it was a pipe for the bookies under me. I think its gonna be him thats stiffed with the bill and I wouldnt be surprised if he gets done aswell coz there wasnt a meter on the pipe so he obviously hasnt bee paying for the water.

 

Its all sorted now anyway but I've lost a day at work coz of it. Gotta work an extra day next week now.

Nope, nothing of mine was damaged. The landlord might be pissed off but I personally dont give a shit. The tosser that works in the bookies next door said he was gonna send me the bill, I just said I'd like to see him try.

We had to have a plumber, electrician and british gas out on Wednesday as our boiler had been leaking in 2 places and the tank was fucked too which dripped onto our emersion heater and blew it and the electric in the flat, seems it has been leaking for a while but there's no way we could have known until we did as our walls are now fucked and the hall carpet has a black mark in it where it's been leaking through there.

 

Not planning on painting or anything though as we don't wana stay here so gonna have to put up with it until we find a place to move out to.
