I really wouldn't go anywhere near fad products like these. As stated many times before, the only way to healthily lose weight is through a controlled diet and exercise.

You say you think your metabolism has slowed down , this may be true, and age does play a part. But then, I'm older than you and I don't have a problem with my metabolism.

The best way to speed up your metabolism is through exercise. You say you're doing this so we need to look at other areas.

As far as food goes, make sure you're not actually starving yourself. When the body goes thinks it's being starved it actually holds onto calories as it thinks it will need them it the future, and therefore you WON'T lose weight by starving yourself. If this still isn't the problem, try eating more often ! Our ancestors were never guaranteed 3 meals a day and our bodies are not designed to cope with that. Try eating 5-7 small meals or snacks a day, this will speed up your metabolism.

started with my personal trainer today (rather dishy innocent.gif and expensive sad.gif ), i think hes killed me only did and hour in the gym and an hour swimming but i hurt already, iv used muscles i didnt know i had sad.gif

 

but feel strangly refreshed and energetic still unsure.gif

It's horrible when you ache all over when useing all your muscles aint it.

 

But if im right the reason for that is, when exercising all your muscles they rip and form into bigger muscles. This is how you get toned up.

 

But yeh - after excercising you might ache but you feel so much better within yourself !

 

Think im guna start using the gyme again soon !

The more you execrise the more fitter and good you feel, thus makeing you more determined to make a go of this diet that you are on.

cheers, its gave me a boost just doing it the once, and having someone tell me exactly what to do and telling you that you CAN do it helps aswell.

 

hes a bit like that trainer off celebrity fat camp, kinda scary at times but worth it. unsure.gif
