which is great news unless you follow a team like mine (leicester city) just been watching the results & they have lost 4-1............another great start to the year, start as you mean to go on lads

 

my son got his first season ticket this year, (cost a small fortune ) if they play like they did last year or today then he might as well play for them

 

i used to go down filbert street every home match with the old man till i had kids But noW Harry can take over and follow on the family tradition

i dont see why we arent a bit like america where there is baseball season in the summer, american football in the autumn/winter, ice hockey in the winter, and basketball in the spring/early summer. thats a whole lot of sport yes, but its a whole bunch of different sports to give the year some flavour and variety.

we have football.... almost all year round... a little bit of cricket in the summer (and who likes cricket anyway?) and we have......rugby sometimes in winter... yippee, break out the sport fans!..........

it has to be spread out cos there is different tournaments

 

and we do have other sports

athletics in summer

tennis

cricket

rugby

swimming

olympics every 4 years

winter sports such as skiing, snow boarding

and not to mention extreme sports like bmx'ing, rollerblading, skateboards and all the other stuff

oh and motor racing and bike stuff is a type of sport too

 

is that not enough for this country
