The weather here is nicer, and warmer than the UK at the moment. August isnt classed as a summer season, according to the Fins, summer is over. Although the temperature is an average consistent 23 degrees centigrade right up until 7pm! Some days warmer, some not. Very wet day today, raining heavily all morning and still 18 degrees. They only see 3 months of "warm" weather, before it starts to turns bitterly cold again. No wonder they have so many seasonal depressives, alcoholics and so many suicides off the town bridge, 100's of feet down onto the ragged, sharp rocks. Nice.

 

Been fishing down at the river a couple of times, its only across the road and through the woods. 5mins walk tops! Catching an array of Perch, Dace and some nice sizable Roach, of about a pound. Nice one John Wilson.

Shanster, I picked up a flyer last time I was here (Feb). It was about a huge event that goes on somewhere in Finland. They BUILD the club from ICE... An ice palace, with awesome rocking music (dance) that goes on for 15hours or so!

Cool, i was chatting 2 caroline banx before she went out there and played at that ice palace gig this year, seen some of the pice she took aswell, they looked wicked!
