I entered a competition a few months ago to win some DJ gear. I was hoping to win the third prize which was a UDG travell bag, as my vinyl is all over the shop, but i've just recieved a phone call from a courier saying can i come and open the door an sign for a delivery. It turns out i've won first prize .

 

I've won:

2 x Technics 1210 Mk5G turntables

2 x Pioneer CDJ1000 Mk2 CD turntables

1 x Pioneer DJM600 Mixer

1 x pair of Technics RPDJ1210 headphones

2 x Ortofon Concorde nightclub E cartridges

A custom made alluminium DJ booth for my room to fit and house all the above

A custom made soundsystem supplied and fitted by Cerwin-Vega

And £1000 to spend on Vinyl and CD's.

 

To say i'm happy is nowhere fuckin close to the mark!!!!!!!!!

Don't think the neighbours are gonna be too pleased though!!

Hi Moo, I'm very very fuckin well thanks mate, as you can imagine. I'm over the moon with all this kit. The fabricators are coming next week with some ideas of the booth and Cerwin-Vega are coming on Monday to design the sound system.

 

I've just been having a play all afternoon trying to get to grips with it all. I'm ok on the vinyl as i previously owned some 1210's but the DCJ's i haven't got a bloody clue!!!!

 

Think i need Daz to come round and show me the way forward.

 

I reckon i'll be taking all this kit to Tidy Weekender, so if anyone fancies guesting in the chalet please feel free.

A few months back i went into a DJ shop on Tottenham Court Road in London and bought some new cartridges. For every order over £75 you got a free entry into this prize draw. 1st place - as above. 2nd - A Vestax PCV275 mixer and 3rd was A seriously nice UDG travel case trolly kind of thing.
