**CANCER RESEARCH FUNDRAISER - CANCELLED**

It saddens us to announce that as of September 2nd 2005 the Clubbed Up and U.F.C annual cancer research and stroke association charity event will not be going ahead. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances a local ‘rival’ club have priority over DJs in Birmingham and having a similar line-up (most of our headlining DJs) to ourselves within days have pulled rank!

 

We had 2 options; change the line-up or move venue, to swap such high class DJs with a diluted line-up would not only hard to do in the space of time we have it would also be unfair to you, the clubbers! To move venue would also cause us a number of other problems as not only do we need to move venues but cities (inc new flyers, posters, lighting, sound etc....) but as im sure you are aware we have battled, pleaded and begged for the past 2/3 weeks to sort something out, but with no joy!

 

We would like to thank everyone for their support they offered with promotion and would like to apologise to anyone who was involved in the event that we have not managed to inform them about this.

 

Although we have still got around 10,000 flyers left in shops, packs, peoples houses and it has been promoted in magazines, websites and on radio the event will no longer go ahead!!!!! If anyone is to see any of these flyers we’d much appreciate you disposing of them and informing anyone else who were going to be coming along of the news.

 

It’s a shame that all this was meant for a good cause!! But don't worry we will not be beaten, we will be back next year bigger and better!
