Sundissential is generally acknowledged as being the UK's most outrageous club experience.

 

Beginning on the 26th October 1996 at the legendary Pulse Club in Birmingham, the unique atmosphere, created by the groundbreaking events being held on a Sunday daytime, was an instant success. Clubbers were there purely for the music, the people and the atmosphere. With the late great Tony De Vit at the helm playing a fine blend of UK and european hard house a "Sundissential Sound" soon developed which was to influence anyone who set foot in the club.

 

The marathon bank holiday events soon became synonymous with scenes of hedonistic debauchery and coach loads of clubbers were arriving from all over the country. Built on an ethos of the strongest resident DJs (who are adored by the regulars to almost fanatical levels, Sundissential rapidly established itself as one of the leading superclubs. Ask anyone who has been to Sundissential about some of the sights they have seen in the club - and ask them if they are joking. Where else would you find a man carrying a toilet round all night for no apparant reason? Another contorting his entire body through a stringless tennis racket or the glowstick police? What about the outfits that the Sundissential faithful spend days creating with their own hands - in a kind of fancy dress spectacular? Some describe it as almost cult like in the way the clubbers are devoted to their club.
