One of the planet’s most celebrated DJs, NYC-based Junior Vasquez has become a clubland legend!

 

 

 

JUNIOR VASQUEZ is back on UK soil playing 2 exclusive 6hr Twilo sets at Gatecrasher events; in London @ Heaven on 30th September and up north in Gatecrashers new Venue Discotheque on 1st October - spinning only his very best US House Music. The Junior Vasquez legend continues to endure, through special sets throughout New York's network of uber-groovy nightclubs, as well as international dates that bring Vasquez's musical magic to dancefloors across the globe. Over the past two decades, Junior has not only invented many new techniques for manipulating music, but has perfected several old ones. In addition, he has written, produced and remixed songs for countless recording artists that include Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cher, Prince, Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Michael & Janet Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, John Mellencamp, k.d. lang, Pet Shop Boys, Elton John, Dolly Parton, Luther Vandross and the Beatles… to name a few!

 

If there is a person in dance music who needs no introduction, it is Junior Vasquez. As styles change and people come and go, Junior Vasquez stands singularly as one of our legends who continues to spin and produce music that clubland loves. Hosting packed rooms at both Subliminal Sessions with Erick Morillo and the Bora Bora party, which featured the return of Danny Tenaglia to London in 4years. 2004 turned out to be Cheeky's year. This year has already see them pack out their room at the amazing Carl Cox & Friends party & the Inession event @ Turnmills feat Kenny Dope & Blaze - Encompassing the funkier side of house, we've also seen the tribal and tech house get very, very Cheeky!
