My mums computer has 'lost' the windows xp setting

Any chance someone could find the Windows XP file and send it over?...

your usual login might have got buggered for some reason, and windows has logged you in as a 'normal' user.

 

your old user (directory) will probably still be there under c:\documents and settings.

 

when this happened to me, i copied all the files over from the old user into the new account windows had created, then got rid of the old user.
