my mate is organising a huge event, we have already spoke to nspcc and are in talks with various ppl in the system but here is the info so far

 

NSPCC Music and Dance Festival

 

A TEDDY BEARS PICNIC WITH?

Judge Jules, Vicki Devine, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Scram, Omissio, Roby

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,

 

Date - 2006/2007

 

Where - Kent, England

 

Venue - To be confirmed, possibilities are Manston Airport, Leeds Castle, Digger land

 

Minimum Target Attendees = 100,000 -at £10 donation per ticket = £1,000,000

 

 

Objective

The raise funds for the NSPCC Special Investigations Units.

 

Using a combination of music genres and entertainment to draw crowds, ticket sales and sponsors of the event, with headline entertainers and next generation entertainers. Several arenas catering for all music tastes from Classical to Hard Trance, a fun fair ground possibly a circus, Comedy (battle) Arena, fashion shows in fact anything and everything that can be put together.

 

Each area having a PG Classification as in videos

As you enter it starts with a U rating, then PG, 15, 18 and chill down. At each section there will be additional security to make sure that kids don’t go to areas that they should not, the further in the rating the harder the party gets. The areas will be clearly marked as part of the theme of the event and will have differing closing times to ensure the kiddies get home - and by kiddies I mean anyone under the age of 18.

ID will be required to enter the over 18 arenas and children must be accompanied at all times.

 

Kindergarten facilities will NOT be made available

If you bring children to the event ensure that you bring sufficient personal to look after them at ALL times (arrange a shift rota so you can see your favourite acts).

 

A camping area will be provided for the weekend with after party areas for those who can not get enough.

 

NOTE: I just want to clarify that what goes on between consenting adults and what an adult chooses to do for his or her self, as long as that it does not cause any harm to any one else I don’t have a problem with. I as an adult man find beauty, love and intimacy a wonderful thing that was granted us by god and mother nature. It is not any single industry adult or other or any other aspect of normal human nature that is to blame for suffering or abuse of children in this world; it is only the act of selfish, cruel ignorant individuals looking to take advantage of the innocent and weak and those such individuals MUST be a priority in our lives to stop. I will also note though I am no expert that there are certain parents who crack due to extreme circumstances and I would not put them in the same category as my strong words above, however there actions must not go unnoticed and they must be helped at all costs.

ive already told pip that i want u and shaney playing as a defo something for me

anne savage has said yes and we are trying for jules cos of radio 1 and we have jus had a meassage on dsi from tri fnuk saying they are interested

 

the idea is easter weekend friday and sat, friday being a family orientated day with bands and pop acts and other family entertainment and then that finishing at a reasonable time leaving enough time to get ready for saturday and a clubbers/ adults day night with djs, different genres, lives acts ect

 

we wana do anything we can ie fashion shows, jugglers, circus and stuff for the family day to raise as much as we can

 

any other ideas defo welcome and any other help
