Ski-ing on New Year!

just to let you all know, ski-ing was mega, i will definitely be going again!

 

James you were right, ski-ing is the best type of holiday apart from the fact your legs ache like a twat and you are always knackered. I've been told that we were only tired because of the ski school as we were ski-ing from 9am until lunchtime in ski school then going out in the afternoon for a few hours every day!

 

Cant wait til the next hol!

yep - these days it takes me about 2 days for my legs to get used to the excercise again but its all definitely worth it.

 

i love the fact you are using the FULL day up (I tend to get on the first lift at 7-8am) and then having all the evening's meal and drinks and clubbing etc as normal. Far better than just sitting on a beach - plus you still get an amazing tan etc.

 

If there were enough people interested it would be mega to arrange a big ski trip one year ..

yeah we didnt really get up to much nigt time activity as we were too fucked, but we plan on it next time its just that we spent £100 or so on ski school we didnt want to miss one lesson because of a hangover. Next tie we wont be getting ski schol so we will be able to get up a little later than normal and go out at night!

yep ski school is great the first couple of times but after that I think you are better of doing your own thing with your friends and going 'exploring'

 

were you boarding or skiing ?

skiing, was gonna do a day on the board but decided against it as needed to practice on the ski's!

 

i did boarding when i worked up in lapland in '99 which was fun!
