Highly-rated production wonderkid Olly Perris (Nukleuz, Impact, Encounter, Project Five, Kompression), a man who has featured on the world’s leading hard dance compilation CDs, has toured Australia and has sold over 50,000 12”s at the age of only 21, makes his long-awaited return to the hard dance scene with this distinctive, original hard dance groover. Teaming up with Addiction co-proprietor Mike Harris, the pair turn out an absolute thumper. Taking a distinctive break beat sample as its main focus, the track fluctuates through hard dance and break beat before erupting in an absolutely monstrous hard trance riff which has destroyed dance floors from London to Lisbon. As played by Andy Whitby, Phil Reynolds, Alf Bamford, Trevor McLachlan, Steve Blake, Justin Sane (Tidy NZ ‘Keep It Tidy’ Radio Show play listed) and of course, the boys themselves.

Addiction resident and co-founder Andy T makes his production debut with a track which just oozes sheer quality. Engineered by Mark Beadle AKA Spherical of M.D.A & Spherical fame, you already know this will pass the quality control test, but Andy’s input is prominent all the way through out the track. Taking a killer hard trance hook and blending it with crunchy percussion, crisp synths, break beat, and one mother of a rolling bassline, it goes without saying that this highly original track will cause carnage wherever it is dropped. Original hard trance is an absolute rarity in our scene at present, but this stormer of a track fills the void beautifully. Alf Bamford is a man who really has grabbed hard dance firmly by the balls and simply will not let go. His unique sound of uplifting, power hard trance has seen him attract a huge fan base right around the globe and at only 19 years of age, already his legendary status within the hard dance scene has been confirmed. “Overdrive” is a track which continues on this path fantastically. Taking his trademarks uplifting synths and riffs and combining them with a huge breakbeat breakdown, this track takes all of the uplifting elements from his previous releases and turns them up to 11 on the dial! We’ve heard all of Alf’s productions here at Addiction HQ and we can honestly say we believe this to be the finest yet. Simply enormous! The second of a very special original two-tracker from the man Alf Bamford sees Alf sticking with the sound which has made him so very special – enormous uplifting hard trance. With dark, sinister vocals and eerie riffs, Alf hits home with “Doomed”, a scorching hard trancer which hits all the right spots and flicks all the right switches to create a massive uplifting vibe. Olly Perris: ‘I first heard ‘Doomed’ round at Alf’s house one day after we had finished collaborating on a previous track and I was quite simply blown away by it.
