Saturday the 26th of November sees the critically-acclaimed BOSH LIVE concept return with a visit to the Manchester Academy for a North West exclusive party. The special one off event will once again bring together elements from Eddie’s infamous Bosh CD compilations for Mixmag, as well as a hand-picked selection of cutting-edge artists from around the globe. Expect energy, anthems and more scratching than the waiting room of an allergy clinic.

Eddie Halliwell should need little introduction, having made one of the most remarkable ascents to fame in dance music. Despite having only just turned 25, he is now firmly established as one of the most exciting DJs in the world. A fact made even more remarkable when you consider that he burst onto the world stage just three years ago, as the highest new entry in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll.

Since then his rise has been unstoppable, a fact recognised at the start of 2004 when he was crowned Mixmag magazine’s “DJ of the Year.” His unique blend of hard dance, trance, techno and hip hop scratching, is in demand from Australia to Japan and this summer he’s been enjoying his fourth season as resident at Judgement Sundays in Ibiza.

Joined by Mr Halliwell is a special seldom visit to the UK and a Manchester Debut for Brazilian techno ace RENATO COHEN. He will tearing up the dance-floor with his fresh techno sound. Having produced one of the biggest tracks of 2005 in ‘Pontape’, Renato is well equipped to make sure the party goes with a bang. Eddie will also be re-united with one of his old pals ROB TISSERA. Rob supported Eddie in the early days and described him as ‘one of the most technically gifted dj’s he had ever witnessed and played alongside’. Rob, himself, knows exactly how to work a crowd and never fails to deliver an absolutely brilliant set.

Dutch duo MARK NORMAN will be showing us exactly why the great Tiesto has signed them to his label and is tipping them for great successes. Their unique driving tech trance provides an energetic and emotional atmosphere which has seen them rock the world’s leading festivals & events, while another fresh overseas talent FRED BAKER aka DARK ALLIANCE will be bringing his future BOSH sound to the party. Eddie has been caning many of his exciting productions namely ‘Dark Alliance – Genetic’, both on his last Radio Essential mix & Residency show, not forgetting on Eddie’s recently mixed Judgement Euphoria album. If his sets at the BOSH events in Ireland and Scotland are anything to go by, Fred is set to go down a treat. Lastly Goodgreef’s newest resident, young BARRY CONNELL will also be at hand to showcase his amazing technical ability and versatility.
