Elements is the new improved home of Frisky, following a complete refurb of its old home Legends. I am sure, when I say refurb, you know it’s been a long time coming. The sound and lighting has had an upgrade and the bars have been completely stripped and resurfaced, with new toilets and a contemporary decor. The room is one big dance floor with black leather seating surrounding, so when you arrive don’t be surprised to find yourself already on the floor, enjoying the famous atmosphere that makes 'Frisky'.

 

 

 

The Frisky brand prides itself on giving the clubber value for money, hence free entry b4 11:30 and £5 there after, we are not a promotion hell bent on making a million, just providing a night in which you can dance to sounds of Rob Tissera, Amber D, JFK and many more while not breaking the bank or your Christmas budget. In keeping with the clubs tradition, Frisky's new years party will be held on Friday 30th December. This allows us to keep our low entrance price, plus it allows you to spend N.Y.E with friends and family.

 

 

 

You will notice on the flyer that Rob Tissera has his own night called Kissdafunk voted 'best club night in the North' by Mixmag. Rob will be playing an exclusive Kissdafunk house set along side onephatbillie, Brothers funk and Andy J. Let’s show the Northerners that the Midlands know how to party! Come on!!

 

 

 

Friday December 23rd will be Live & Kicking’s 2nd appearance following on from the great turn out they received on our opening night in conjunction with Live & Loud. However, this time they will be going head 2 head with our very own Frisky Nu Breed, the winner will be determined on the crowds reaction, so come on and support your favourite.

Not to put a downer on things...I use to be a Frisky regular 3 years ago when it was in its prime but there are a few things I feel I need to point out....

 

"Voted best club of the North" according to the flyer....Northampton is in the Midlands, virtually East Anglia.

 

"Sound and light upgraded"???

The sound system is worse than it use to be....if it aint broke, dont fix it. It was rated the 3rd best sound system in the country a few years ago by several top DJ's. Why change it when it was BRILLIANT before.

 

Toilets arent new, they've just fixed the locks...bar hasnt changed upstairs, its just been mended.

 

It will never be what it once was, its changed, the "family" doesnt go anymore. I'll probably still make an appearance but not as often as I use to.
