David Guetta wins three awards including ‘Best Live Set’ at Kissdafunk

 

 

Congratulations to David Guetta and Kissdafunk for winning the Best Live Act category at the 2005 House Music Awards. His set at Kissdafunk’s First Birthday beat-off stiff competition from 10 short-listed finalists including Erick Morillo at Ministry of Sound; Mylo at Homelands; Danny Howells at Miami WMC and Faithless Live in Athens, to claim the prize”

 

It was an incredible night for David as he also won the ultimate accolade of Best DJ while his ‘F**K Me I’m Famous’ party won best event at Miami World Music Conference.

 

Kissdafunk co-promoter and resident Rob Tissera enthused; “I am absolutely delighted and feel really privileged that David won one of his awards for playing at our party. For us it’s all about giving everything to our audience. David’s set on the night was an inspired blend of pumping electronic house with just the right amount of crowd friendly moments which had us all standing back in awe. We’d like to thank him, and the crowd, that have patiently queued around the block over the last two years for our events making this happen.”

 

Tolley who runs Kissdafunk alongside Rob added; “I'm absolutely chuffed to bits that David did so well; and for him to win 'Best Live Set' for his performance at Kissdafunk's Birthday is amazing.
