Nu Crasher vs Wildchild – 29th November 2005

Hot off the back of his second Radio One Essential Mix we pleased to welcome back former resident Matt Hardwick. Matt’s illustrious association with the global phenomenon that is Gatecrasheris something which has been well documented. Many would see such association, as an accomplishment in it’s own right. It has seen Matt to play some of the greatest events that the world of clubbing has to offer. Whether playing at the sell-out Don Valley stadium gig in front of 28,000 people on New Years Eve 2000 or playing to 15,000 people at the amazing Gatecrasher NEC events- Matt has seen it all.

Nick Riley & Andi Durrant are 2 of the biggest rising stars in dance music. Turning their hand to national and international radio shows, the planets biggest dance events, and producing tracks and remixes for the biggest artists and labels. Andi and Nick recently rocked St Petersburg where they played a live set on the main Crasher stage of Fort Dance, to 45,000 clubbers, and an audience of 80million on TV and Radio. A busy season in Ibiza was topped off with a return to the UK to play at the massive Creamfields festival. Riley & Durrant can be seen regularly in the pages of Mixmag, DJ, Klubknowledge, and the nets biggest websites. Their busy schedule of UK and international dates, and high profile remixes and tracks, should see their already massive popularity and profile go through the roof, so be sure to check them out when you can.

At the age of 25, resident of Wildchild, Reece Elliot has the world at his feet. Steering the UK’s fastest rising Trance club to success in London and across the nation whilst taking on international DJ work in Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, China, Bali, Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Spain, Ibiza, Holland and more as well as forging his way up the ladder in the UK. Production wise he is the man behind the highly acclaimed 4 Fingers series and has just been in the studio with Pulser!

Recently described by Mixmag as the ‘hardest working man in dance music’ Simon 'Brisky' Brisk is the front man for the acclaimed Monster Tunes stable which he has firmly established as the leading label group in the UK, he also has his own artist management company, publishing house, production studios and a manufacturing company that presses for the leading labels around such as Anjunabeats, Joof and many more! In the past year he has also made headlines on the production front with support from Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell, Radio 1 and Galaxy FM for his latest offerings! In the last year he has rocked crowds at the Dance Academy, Ministry of Sound, Heaven and Wildchild and has worldwide tours planned for 2006. This man is definitely one to watch for the future!

Owner of the Enhanced Recordings labels and A&R manager for the Monster Tunes stable, Will Holland has been responsible for much of the music you have heard in the past 12 months, as the labels have been supported by every major trance DJ on the planet. Will’s latest release ‘Timeless’ has been supported by Armin (4 plays on his radio show), Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules and many others and has been aired on all the major UK Radio Stations. Wills DJing has seen him rock super clubs Passion and Goodgreef amongst others and recently wowed the listeners of Above & Beyond’s Trance Around the World radio show. He has just signed to BBLDJ’s and dates lined up at the 6000 capacity SE1 Complex, Heaven, Dance Academy, Jakarta in Indonesia before xmas and has a tour of Asia and his first compilation release in 2006.

Crasher ressie Stevie G completes the line up. Stevie has a great ability to diversify his style to suite any crowd and regularly performs alongside the biggest DJ’s in the world, including high profile gigs such as warming up for Tiesto. A firm favourite with the Crasher regulars and more than capable of filling Mr Hardicks boots!

This event guarantees to rock your socks off and is back every last Tuesday of the month, providing you with the best midweek night imaginable. If you aren’t a student make sure you book the Wednesday off work- you’ll need it ;-)
