Anyway my reviews on the CD itself. To be really honest and you know i am exactly that, it wasn't to my taste. You're mixing is spot on, but dude you got to sort out the track selection. The tunes sounded like they were being played to fast and were stuck in the treble zone. To me it was just a load of remixs of classic tunes, and bad ones at that. Sorry, but they wrecked some truely amazing trance tunes, and being a trance person at the core, it was painful.

 

I feel this style of music is dying on its arse, move with the flow, be creative, think about what you like doing. Me personally it's trance and hard funky electro techno. It's deep and driving with a real groove and force going on. I just didn't feel it on this CD. You can't knock your mixing skills as mate they are spot on and you used your effects well. However another axe to grind, SORT THE FUCKING MASTER VOLUME TO THE CD OUT!!!!!!!! That's really annoying.

 

Just think when you're mixing a CD, that you (the DJ) are a tour guide and you're showing someone somewhere they've never been. If the tour is bland and uninteresting people will lose interest, but if you take them on an adventure, not only will they think you're amazing, but they will want to come back again.

 

Shane i know you can do it, and i wouldn't just say that, but for me and it's been like this for a while it's the tune selection. Sort that and i believe you've got what it takes there no doubt in that mate. I hope you dont' see what i say as negative but as constructive. Give me a bell if you want and we'll talk more, and SEND ME THE CONTENT YOU GIT!!!
