CTW Members deepsoulgroove Posted January 29, 2006 CTW Members Share Posted January 29, 2006 (edited) Hi all Robert Owens' residency down at Egg continues on Friday 3rd February (now the 1st Friday of every month) He'll be in the main room as usual, this month joined by GEORGIA GIRL, part of the Blowin East collective, who'll be playing her usual brand of soul-filled house music. Upstairs, resident SASOTO (hear no evil) joined by two of the Faith collective - BILL BREWSTER and LEO ELSTOB. Expect a musical journey through the deepest house, tech and electro. Although perhaps better known as a music journalist, Bill is also a DJ and resident at Fabric since its opening in 1999. He's also responsible for the intimate party called Low Life with his writing partner, Frank Broughton. He also DJs regularly all over the UK and Europe. As a writer, he is the co-author (with Frank) of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life and How To DJ (Properly). An original member of chart-toppers Chicane, Leo left early on to move to west London from where he ran Soulsonic with friend Stuart Patterson and forged a reputation for being a DJ of wildly divergent tastes. Since then he has continued his residency at Sundaysonic, as well as DJing all over Britain and Europe. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Journeys is @ EGG, 200 York Way, 10-6, £8 before midnight, £12 after please note Journeys is now the 1st Friday of the month!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- February sees the start of the Journeys pre-party @ Canal 125, 125 Caledonian Road, a short walk from Kings Cross tube.
