i know this is going to seem argumentative but i don't think i need to apologise for posting these. i think, if you are going to bring child-oriented web-censorship into the discussion, you surely have to accept some of the responsibility in this case?

wouldn't this give even the slightest hint that this just might not be something you would want your kids to see? i have the utmost respect for parents but, you see, i have no kids myself.

 

however, i would like to think that if i did have kids and i was worried about them seeing something "very very gross" over my shoulder on the web i'd think twice before clicking a link labelled "the grossest thing" and "very very gross things" if they were around. in essence, i would take personal responsibility for that mouse click.

 

anyway, i've deleted them so everybody can calm down now.

 

i guess this was an interesting lesson.

well, i actually take offense at your suggestion that i edited the titles after the fact in an attempt to somehow cover my tracks. i think i have a little more integrity than that.

 

i admit i'm struggling a little to see how much stronger any warning could have been but i'll dwell on it.

 

i'm genuinely confused by the response to this. the initial reaction was extremely strong then you say it's actually not that bad. that's a very mixed message, that's all.
