no i understand people having it in there signitures and having banners i think its rude when people chat on a forum and then tell other members come chat on such and such site.

 

and a post in events fro same site saying come advertise at such and such site i think thats rude aswell

I don't see anything wrong with it. It is simply an Open Invitation. You don't have to take it, but it is a way of Advertising and getting the same out of whatever the site may be. Spaming on the other hand (which is completely different), I can't tollerate, because it's just as good as throwing out a call of despiration.

I will do the same when i go out although i have the same sort of camer as James (fuji finepix s5500) and its a killer 2 carry everywhere, i wish i had brought a smaller 1 now

Yes, spamming every post about the said site freely is Plugging and Spamming, if you're going to put it in your Signature, it's the same as you spamming it, but you're still advertising it, and you're not telling people 'come and join my site' again and again. If they see it, it's up to them to visit and join it. That's how it works Dani, if you want to get noticed, people will advertise in a way they see fit. And as for Advertising properly, don't contradict yourself and say Minx can't post about a site on here, and you're then quick enough to add to your signature the Banner of this site. If it helps, which I'm sure it will in some way or another, then go for it, I don't see why not REGRARDLESS.

 

As for advertising properly, what about the people who are only starting out, havn't a clue how to design Flash Banners, or don't posess Flash Skills then ? It's not always as easy as you think it to advertise, when you say it needs to be done properly. Everyone is a beginner, and this is HOW and WHEN they learn.

loads didn't come out though as my flash is playing up and not being in sync all the time, but enough have come out for a gallery
