GOODGREEF TALL TREES RE-OPENING

 

Over the past three years the awesome Club M at Tall Trees has become home-from-home for Goodgreef, the perfect setting for this clubbing upstart’s unique unification of tech-trance, hard dance and trance. With Goodgreef’s northeast parties playing a massive part in it’s recent coronation by Mixmag readers as “Best Club in the North” to celebrate and get 2006 off with a bang on Saturday February 18th we re-open with a monster line-up.

 

Returning to the palatial Tall Trees will be the Queen of Hard Dance, Lisa Lashes. This year her globetrotting schedule has taken to nearly every continent on the planet and so we are thrilled that she can help us kick off the year in style! Due to popular demand also headlining is the inimitable Mark E.G., whose DJ booth antics and boundary blurring mixes of techno and hard trance are truly sights and sounds to behold.

 

Alongside these two legends Goodgreef also continues to push new talent, showcasing three fresh faces to the northeast crowds. Firstly, heading up from London is Frantic resident Andy Whitby who’s catapulted himself into the hard dance stratosphere with creative cut ups of classic tracks and future anthems in his sets. Fellow young blood Kutski is another technical genius, able to scratch to pro hip-hop standard whilst spinning everything in the hard dance spectrum, from hard trance to hardcore (skills he regularly shows off on his awesome show on BBC Radio 1 as part of “The Residency”).

 

Finally, completing the line up in the main room is Goodgreef’s Scottish prodigy Barry Connell, another youngster whose immense turntable trickery is rapidly gaining him fans across the UK. Alternatively, if you want a change of pace then head across to the House Party where Manjit & Zia will be spinning the finest, and funkiest, beats all night long. All in all this is one party not to be missed!
