Yes people Techstyle is bringing you fresh sounds from all over the uk, last month we had Skelp come down from Scotland to play, this month we've got the man of the moment from the Northern end of the uk..

 

MR SAM TOWNEND

 

Sam first got his hands on a pair of decks at the age of 16 and has since become one of the most exciting up & coming hard dance DJ’s the UK scene has to offer.

 

After been given his first residency at the infamous ‘Housewives choice’ in Leeds, He has become one of the leading figures in the hard dance scene in the north and is a regular guest at every single hard dance event in Yorkshire such as the nationally renowned nights - Parlez-vous, Good Greef, Housework. Glass house, Incision and Toast to name but a few.

 

Mixing together techno, hard dance, dirty house a lot of well known classic tracks ‘bootleg’ed’ by himself and just about anything else that works on the dance floor, Sam’s own unique style of DJ’ing has been causing quite a stir as of late, with some labelling his music as ‘party techno’ and others just simply saying ‘ the most refreshing sound heard in a hard dance club for a long time!’

 

Now at the age of 23, Sam’s flare, versatility and enthusiasm behind the decks has gained him recognition from some of the leading DJ’s on the hard dance circuit and has seen his name regularly appear alongside such DJ’s as Lisa Lashes, Eddie Halliwell, Yoji Biomehanika, Captain Tinrib, Anne Savage, Paul Glazby, Andy Farley, Ilogik and many more

 

From this he has gained an impressive 6 residency’s (including Housewives choice) at Wired, Emphatic, Phat, Energy (all Yorkshire based nights) and a monthly residency on ‘Clubbed up’ radio which broadcasts in the Birmingham area and is based in Wolverhampton.

 

With an increasingly busy schedule taking him up and down the country to nights such as - Convergence (London), Kinetic (Bristol), Absolution (Norwich), Oblivion (London), Shaft (Birmingham), Pro – active (London) Bosh (Nottingham), Bite (London), Hard up north (Blackburn), Addiction (Manchester), Rush (London), Twist (Scarborough), Exodus (Manchester) and many more on a regular basis………………Sam looks set to make his mark in 2005!

 

 

 

 

Alongside Sam we have our second guest for her return set, after playing her debut set for last year and amazing the dancefloor we decided to get her back as soon as a slot was available. This girl rock DELUKA!!!
