i know news on this has gone around once b4 in the last year,

but this is a serious problem. i also know lou posted a topic on one aspect of this but i think people are nieve to how serious this problem is.

in a popular magazine the reporter went under cover and in one area there was a gang of 5 men who often went out on these 'hunting' nights where they'd get groups of woman or ones alone and as they fairly attractive these woman would go back to there hotel for more drinks where they would drug them and rape them.

for some reason some sicko's out there think this is funny.

sadly most of the woman raped dont report it as traces of some drugs arent found in the system and also thro their fear and embarrasmeant.(and washing straight away)

i hate to admit to myself theres more sicko's out there then i thought,and also its just as likely to be an attractive lad/group of who could proberly pull anyway,to them its a power thing it seems.Whats most desturbing is the fact that these men are now taking away our chance of having children to,just to get their end away.

it makes me sick.

This is a hoax whose only purpose seems to be to cause alarm. Progesterex does not exist, there is no mention of it in the literature or drug databases.

The hoax seems to have been around since at least November 1999, and has features common with the LSD chain letter and other internet hoaxes: an urgent and fear-inducing tone; a lack of verifiable sources; reference to an unnamed authority figure from whom the information supposedly came; and the usual plea to forward the message to everyone you know.

 

It's important to be aware that the crime of date rape does occur and that drugs are sometimes used to sedate victims. The "Progesterex" scare is baseless.

With Rohypnol, all they have to do is drop it into their drink. The girl can't remember a thing the next morning of what happened the night before. Well now Rohypnol is not being used alone. Progesterex, which dissolves in drinks (alcohol or soda) just as easily, is being used with it so that the woman doesn't conceive from the rape and the rapist doesn't have to worry about having a paternity test indentifying him months later. But the drug's affects AREN'T TEMPORARY. Progesterex was designed to sterilizes horses. Any woman that takes it WILL NOT HAVE CHILDREN EVER IN HER LIFE. All guys have to do to get this drug is just know someone, like a friend, who is in the Vet school of any university. It's that easy, and Progesterex is about to break out big on campuses everywhere. This came around 'again' sometime last year, it is a hoax, but doesn't take away the main issue raised.

Im just wary of the extent that men will go to to get laid.

Whilst its a hoax it does raise awareness.

 

I wonder if the author of the hoax was someone of a similar mindset to the drug-rape fiends who wanted to make light of the issue or someone who thought that by sensationalising the issue they would be making a positive contribution by raising awareness.

Hoax or not, peeps do got out to purposely spike drinks, male or female, so do be careful & never leave your drink unattended!!
