this has caused major trouble in another forum.doh.

 

at the end of the day,i recieved this mail from a worried friend,i then worried bout my girlys and people on the forum so i posted on here,its called caring

i only found out it was a hoax after.

however,this has raised my awarness and hopefully everyone elses,even if a part of this is a hoax the drug raping is a serious ever increasing issue,and no woman is gonna dismiss the information on here because one bit of its a hoax.

 

i dont think the hoax has done major harm at all,i think if woman believe it they'll be more wary now,as its a frightening thing.

one minute a guy is getting a stupid email in his inbox. later, a girl is dead.

 

a little heavy handed perhaps but it is just a hypothetical example.

All that is being said here, in this topic, is that yes the email is a hoax & how many emails, virus etc are sent out?, lots!! However, these emails awaken our awareness to things, so as much as it is bad, it has a good point too!!

i agree to some extent. i don't think this specific message has created a problem but if you read my first response, in the bigger picture, messages of this type are creating a huge problem for a variety of reasons.

to this point Alasdair, yes it can peeps ideas, but it also makes peeps aware too, so it can be said for as much as it is bad, it is also good!!

 

The point is at the end of the day, society is a messed up place & shit goes on, so it is good to be made aware IMO!!

and again, we are refereing to the first post, rape, sterilization and rohypnol.

your could prove your last point by doing that with any drug and any cercumstances, not just through Emails

The disscussion started with what Kitty thought was a genuine email, however, it has since come to light thats it is infact a hoax & peeps were saying, hoax or not, we should still be aware as spiking goes on in pubs & clubs, not whether or not hoax emails make rapists & so on!!
