London, June 2006: In March 2006, 33 Degrees South and Trust the DJ launched Global Breakthrough, the first-ever club tour to Cape Town, adding a major new feature to the clubbers’ calendar alongside Ibiza and Miami WMC.

The first ever Global Breakthrough included seven events over ten days, including a boat, beach and mansion party, as well as four club nights. The club tour’s success has put Cape Town, South Africa’s sunny southern hemisphere city, at the forefront of the world’s top clubbing destinations.

For those after something more exclusive and adventurous and wanting to experience dance events that attract the most wanted DJs on the planet, Cape Town is every clubber’s dream getaway.

After a jam-packed 2006, the Global Breakthrough team is now securing new exotic Cape locations and the world’s top breakthrough DJs for the 2007 club tour, set to take place in February next year.

The much anticipated club tour will see some of the most cutting-edge brands, DJs and record labels come together over two weeks to celebrate dance music in settings that will take your breath away.

Global Breakthrough has already confirmed Push, from the creators that brought us South West Four, Toolroom Records and Pushca for the 2007 tour, with a star studded line up to be announced.

The club tour will include at least eight official international dance events and rest days in between catering for those with an adventurous spirit. Everything from extreme sports to lavish limousine tours of the Cape’s world-famous winelands will be on offer, without the hefty price tag of Europe.

Global Breakthrough’s 2007 clubbing holiday packages are expected to be launched shortly, with dance publications already tipping this to be the hottest ticket in clubland.
